Congratulations to Raj and Reece on their promotions!

Congratulations to Bhavraj Bamrah and Reece Martin on their promotions to Principal Conformance Engineers.

Since joining NCB Raj has worked on several infrastructure projects including Stockley Airport Junction, Acton dive-under and West Outer Maidenhead. Raj has experience as a lead engineer in the Network Rail product acceptance assurance process, having managed a diverse portfolio including AWS, Balises, Data Loggers, WESTCAD, Alstom MCS, Ansaldo ACC and Cables. With his extensive knowledge of a wide variety of signalling assets, Raj has also been a lead verifier for the signal verification team in CCS, within the STE organisation. During the early part of his career Raj was a maintainer, fault finder and installer as a Signal and Telecoms Technician on the London to Shoeburyness line, Anglia Route.

Reece has worked for Network Rail since 2005 in a variety of signalling engineering roles, and has worked for NCB since May 2017. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers. Previously Reece has worked as a Senior Project Engineer for Investment Projects South East, managing a team of signalling engineers with a range of experience. Reece has a successful history of delivery in this role acting as DPE and support for a diverse portfolio of signalling and multi- disciplinary projects. He has substantial experience of safety assurance requirements owing to his time in these roles. Reece has also worked as a designated project engineer for the national level crossing team on a wide range of projects including renewals and nationwide mitigation programme. He has undertaken designated project engineer roles for IP Wessex and acted as a signalling project engineer in IP Anglia, building up a consummate knowledge of rail engineering practice across the Southern region. Prior to this he has a background in signalling maintenance as a technician, and is familiar with faulting and maintenance techniques for a wide range of signalling equipment and systems.
